Previously at The Wilma: The Convert by Danai Gurira.  His production of Marc Bamuthi Joseph’s red, black and GREEN: a blues was presented by the Annenberg Center as well as at other venues including The Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Kennedy Center and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.   Other recent credits include We Are Proud to Present... at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in Washington DC, where he is a company member, Wrestling Jerusalem at Intersection for the Arts in San Francisco, and The Motherfucker with the Hat at South Coast Repertory Theatre.  Michael is the artistic director of Cornerstone Theatre Company, a community-engaged ensemble in Los Angeles, where recent work includes directing California: The Tempest by Alison Carey and Plumas Negras by Juliette Carrillo.
