The practice of embodied acting that draws on a variety of stage-acting methods. HotHouse Founder, Blanka Zizka, defines it as “emotion, body, voice, all in fluid expression.” Members of the HotHouse Resident Acting Company have met weekly for 10+ years to train in what results in their being some of the most accomplished and recognized actors in our region and nationally.

Every summer, the Wilma’s HotHouse Resident Acting Company invites participants to train with us onstage at The Wilma Theater. The Institute is designed for current and aspiring professional theater artists.
