Amina Robinson

Amina is an actor, director, Professor of Acting and Musical Theater at Temple University and Artistic Director of The Centre Theater in Norristown. She is thrilled to make her Wilma Theater directorial debut with Fat Ham. As an actor, Amina has performed on Broadway, National Tours, film, television, national commercials, and various regional productions. Amina’s directing credits include productions at The Arden Theatre, PA Shakespeare Festival, Theatre Horizon, Azuka Theatre,  IAMA Theater in Los Angeles, Queens Theater in New York, Passage Theater in New Jersey,  The Lantern Theater, and Temple University. She is the first Black woman to win a Barrymore Award for Outstanding Direction of a Musical for The Color Purple at Theater Horizon.
