John Polanco Aviles is a distinguished trumpet player based in the Philadelphia area. Graduating with a Bachelor’s & Master’s degree from the University of the Arts, John’s musical journey has been marked by a dedication to both performance and education. In addition to his role as a teacher, John’s committed work ethic has garnered him opportunities to perform alongside prominent salsa artists such as Tito Puente Jr. and Frankie Ruiz Jr. He has also shared the stage with acclaimed artists like Lauryn Hill and the Fugees (Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel), showcasing his versatility and talent across various musical genres.
