Krit Robinson is an award winning designer, artist and educator, based in Woodside Queens. Her work ranges from site specific installations, architectural consulting, to traditional theatre and opera. As an artist she aims to take large epic artistic messes and create a vision and vessel that can be inhabited by both performers and audience. She is most inspired when she is being asked impossible questions about our own humanity, looking closely at us and trying to understand our spirit. Krit is the Assistant Professor of Scenic Design at Purchase College. A Princess Grace Fellow, she holds her MFA in Theatre Design from Yale University and is a member of USA829, and is a long time member of Sunnyside and Woodside Mutual Aid. Kristenrobinsondesign.com
