Join the WilmaHouse Book Club!

The Wilma Theater, Head House Books, and Harriett’s Bookshop are teaming up for a special book club event, inspired by one of our most prominent American playwrights, Pulitzer and Tony Award-winner, Suzan-Lori Parks play, THE AMERICA PLAY.

πŸ“– What?

A lively book club discussion on Tre Johnson’s Black Genius, a book of cultural essays around the idea of β€œBlack cultural life showing its brilliance in everyday society.” The book club will be moderated by Co-Artistic Director Morgan Green and include a Q + A with the author himself. Enjoy a drink, great conversation, and reflect on the play through the lens provided by the book.
