Wilma Theater at the Aurora
This is the Wilma’s biggest night, and our most important fundraiser of the year – and we are excited to celebrate this milestone in our theater’s home on Broad Street. This special evening will also honor Howard and Vesna Sacks for their generous support of the Wilma’s HotHouse Acting Company, our theater’s artistic soul. The evening will feature performances, drinks, dancing and fun – all in support of the Wilma’s bold, adventurous art and the artists who make it all possible.

We are privileged to honor Howard and Vesna Sacks for their generous support in underwriting our HotHouse Acting Company. In the 10 years since its official founding in a performance of ANTIGONE in our 2015-16 season, the HotHouse Acting Company has become the artistic lodestone of the Wilma Theater, and has received national attention for its unique methodology.
30 years at our home on Broad Street
We are excited to be celebrating 30 years in our home on Broad Street. In 1996, our theater was the first built for the newly formed Avenue of the Arts which was pivotal for both the Wilma and Philadelphia, and which cemented our place in the regional theater scene and announced that Philadelphia was place for vibrant, exciting live theater. As the blueprint of Broad Street continues to evolve with exciting improvements on the horizon, we are thrilled to take this moment to look back on its storied history.
