Skye Fort is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice includes theatre. video, performance, and installation. Originally from New Mexico, Skye is a recent transplant to Philadelphia, having spent eight years working in Chicago theatre and two years in Baltimore. She is a company member at Trap Door Theatre in Chicago IL, and a founding member of the Albuquerque based performance art collective “So This is Art.” Directing credits include “Disaster Theatre” (The Brick, Brooklyn NY, 2023), “What If” (Trap Door Theatre, Chicago IL, 2022), “Could Have Been/Someone” (Towson University, 2022), “And Away We Stared” (Trap Door Theatre, 2021) “Strange As It Seems” (Tricklock Theatre, Abq NM, 2019), and “Childhood Beauty” (Trap Door Theatre, 2019).
