Ms. Holt comes to Philadelphia directly from a hit production of Gina Gionfreddo’s Becky Shaw at SF Playhouse, where she recently appeared in Rajiv Joseph’s Animals Out of Paper; and the world premiere of Zayd Dohrn’s Reborning.  Last fall she played Eleanor in a revival of Claire Chafee’s Why We Have A Body at The Magic Theater.  She has been a leading actress in the San Francisco Bay Area for decades, having been a member for ten years of SF’s groundbreaking Eureka Theater, where she originated the role of Harper Pitt in Tony Kushner’s Angels in America.  Other regional theatre credits include Nancy in Frozen at Marin Theater Company; Mrs. Antrobus in Richard Hamburger’s production of Skin of Our Teeth, and Queen Elizabeth in  Richard III at California Shakespeare Theatre; Blair Lowe in David Edgar’s Continental Divide at Berkeley Rep, Birmingham Rep (England), The Barbican (London), and La Jolla Playhouse.  She has received acting awards for her work in productions at Berkeley Rep and at A.C.T. in S.F., and has worked at the Humana Festival, San Jose Rep, The Mark Taper (Taper, Too); Center Rep, and in many commercial productions in SF, including a long run of Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues.  Film & tv credits:  Love & Taxes; Bee Season; Patch Adams, Rising Sun, Eye on the Sparrow; Back To The Streets of San Francisco.  Ms. Holt works frequently in voiceover, especially video games and film narration, and is a published, award-winning writer of short fiction and feature articles.
