Morgan Green is one of three Co-Artistic Directors at the Wilma Theater alongside Yury Urnov and Lindsay Smiling. She was a co-creator of the Brooklyn-based theater company, New Saloon, best known for Minor Character: Six Translations of Uncle Vanya at the Same Time (The Public Theater). She is thrilled to be directing her first opera with HILMA. Recent credits include: the Pulitzer Prize winning Fat Ham by James Ijames (digital, The Wilma Theater), Eternal Life Part 1 by Nathan Alan Davis, (The Wilma Theater), and School Pictures by Milo Cramer (The Wilma Theater, Playwrights Horizons) which was lauded as best production of 2023 by NY Magazine (The Wilma Theater), Staff Meal by Abe Koogler (Playwrights Horizons), The Music Man by Meredith Wilson (The Sharon Playhouse), and The Wolves by Sarah DeLappe (Marin Theater Company). Morgan’s short film One More Time With Feeling premiered at the Raindance Film Festival in London in October 2023.
