Q: How do I make a ticket purchase?
Single ticket purchases may be made in person, by phone, or securely online. Tickets cannot be reserved without payment, which must be received at the time of purchase.

Season subscribers receive additional benefits. If you would like to purchase a season subscription package, click here or contact the Wilma box office.

Q: Do I get a discount for bringing a group?
Yes, groups of 10 or more receive a 20% discount for select dates and ticket prices. Further benefits include an additional complimentary ticket for groups over 25 people, flexible payment plans when you work with our Group Sales Coordinator, and a private reception space (depending on availability). Group reservations can be made by contacting the Box Office at 215-546-7824 or emailing groupsales@wilmatheater.org.

Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
The Wilma Theater accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and personal check.  We do accept cash but only in person. Please allow two weeks for processing when paying by personal check.

Q: What happens if a show is cancelled?
Performance cancellations due to inclement weather or other circumstances are very rare. Performances at the Wilma go on as scheduled unless the City of Philadelphia is closed by the Mayor’s Office. All other emergencies such as a Streets Department Snow Emergency do not affect Wilma performances, and shows will go on as scheduled.

Please note: The Wilma Theater will not offer refunds if a performance has taken place.

Q: What happens to our tickets if we are late?
Your tickets will not be resold if you are late for a show.To avoid disruption to the actors and audience, latecomers will be seated in available seats by the House Manager at the first appropriate interval, at the discretion of management. Doors to the Theater open 30 minutes before curtain time. Please plan to arrive in time to be seated. 

Q: If I cannot attend my show, can I get a refund or exchange?
All sales are final, there are no refunds. Please do not let your tickets go unused — if you cannot attend a performance, contact the Box Office at (215) 546-7824 prior to your performance to donate your tickets. 

Subscribers may exchange their tickets up to 24 hour prior to curtain — all complimentary subscriber exchanges are governed by the policies as detailed in your Subscriber Handbook. 

Single tickets may be exchanged up to 24 hours prior to curtain for a $6 per ticket fee, plus any applicable upgrade charges.

Q: What are the Box Office hours?

Non-Performance Days:
Monday – Friday 12:00am-5:00pm
Saturday & Sunday Closed

Performance Days:
Monday-Friday 12pm-7pm
Saturday 12pm-8pm
Sunday 12pm-3pm

Q: What time should I arrive at the theater?
Come as early as you like to enjoy the Good Karma Cafe at the Wilma Theater. Alcoholic beverages are available one hour before the performance. The doors to the theater open a half hour prior to the performance time. If you need to pick up your tickets at Will Call, you are welcome to stop by early and avoid long lines closer to show time.

Q: Is the theater accessible?
The Wilma offers a variety of accessibility accommodations to better serve the community. 

For patrons who are deaf or hard of hearing, we offer Assistive Listening Devices, which can be borrowed from house management at coat check. We also offer captioned performances on specific dates for each show in the Wilma season. 

Patrons who are blind or have low-vision should contact the box office for individualized help picking and reserving seats.

For patrons with limited mobility, Wheelchair accessible seating is available in two seating areas. For your convenience, please reserve in advance through the Wilma Box Office. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before curtain time to allow adequate time to be comfortably seated.

Q: Is the theater air conditioned?

Yes.

Q: Can I smoke inside the theater?

Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the Wilma Theater.

Q: Can I take photographs or record the show?

Due to contract restrictions, the use of recording equipment or the taking of photographs is strictly prohibited at all performances. This includes, but is not limited to, cell phones with cameras, video cameras, and audio recording devices.
