A warmhearted and funny portrait of modern school life, told in musical snapshots of individual teenagers, sung by their broke and hapless tutor.
Songwriter and performer Milo Cramer was inspired by their real-life experiences as a private tutor to create what they describe as “loving musical portraits of struggling students.”
This world premiere is directed by Lead Artistic Director Morgan Green, who previously directed the world premiere digital production of James Ijames’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play Fat Ham.

School Pictures is Barrymore Recommended! Here’s what one of the voters had to say about the show:
“The witty and humorous presentation of School Pictures was a true delight. Milo Cramer commanded the attention of each guest as they eloquently dissected the racial, cultural, and academic inequities that students of color continue to face after decades of systematic and political construct. Their funny and creative depictions of each student brought their characters to life as they metaphorically delved into their past, present, and futures. This show is a must see!”
