Giving Tuesday

3 Ways You Can Help Support the Arts

This Giving Tuesday, you can make a huge different to arts organizations like the Wilma! Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, we at the Wilma are proud to have continued to employ artists and engage with audiences and students throughout Philadelphia. None of this work would be possible without your help and support. Here are some ways to help support the arts this Giving Tuesday:

1. Be An #ArtsHero

We’re teaming up with Be An #ArtsHero to provide you with resources to take action!

Closer to home, the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance‘s #LightsOn initiative is illuminating the impact of arts and culture in Greater Philadelphia.

Click here to send a letter to your City Council members to ask them to stand with arts and culture and to support our sector in creating community-empowering solutions for the many challenges Philadelphia continues to face.

Share your actions on social media to inspire others!

2. Run a DIY fundraiser

Create a post to share with your friends why this organization is meaningful to you and why they should be supported.

100% of these donations are paid to the organization

To create your fundraiser:

  1. Click Fundraisers in the left menu of your News Feed. You may need to click See More.
  2. Click + Raise Money.
  3. Select Nonprofit or Charity.
  4. Select a charitable organization, fill in the fundraiser details and choose a cover photo.
  5. Click Create.
