Christopher Colucci (Sound and Original Music) makes sound and music as a theater artist, composer and guitarist. In 2011, he received a fourth Barrymore award for Outstanding Original Music and Sound Design for In the Next Room, or the vibrator play (Wilma Theater). Last summer he attended the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space on a professional development trip sponsored by the Philadelphia Theatre Initiative. During the 2011-2012 season Christopher worked on over a dozen productions including: The Whipping Man and Charlotte’s Web (Arden), Of Mice and Men (People’s Light & Theater), How I Learned to Drive (Theatre Horizon), The Mousetrap (Walnut), Knives in Hens (Theater Exile), Private Lives (Lantern), The Morini Strad (Portland Stage) and The Curse of the Starving Class here at the Wilma. Christopher is currently studying Orchestration at the Berklee College of Music, as well as preparing a recording of contemporary music for Classical Guitar.
